Faisal
Thomas Walker Aastrand, aged 23 and based in Solvang, California, is currently very successful with his Danish Warmblood Feisal. They recently won a big open Grand Prix in Creston California with a 65% and their many successes in Grand Prix have earned them the USDF gold medal. Thomas and 15-year-old Feisal have qualified for the Brentina Cup which will be held in Gladstone New Jersey the second weekend of August, and they are currently ranked in the top five in the USA.

Thomas acquired Feisal in Denmark six month ago. The handsome and powerful grey gelding is by Fernando out of a Lavallo mare and is bred by Ruth and Jørgen Søgaard. Feisal has been trained and owned by Danish Grand Prix rider Michael Søgaard since the age of four. Feisal and Michael have booked several Grand Prix wins and were highly placed in the Danish dressage championships in 2009.
