Danish horses with a triangle brand. What does it mean?
Sometimes, during the many inspection tours in the States, the breeding commission has seen Danish horses marked with a triangle band on their left thigh, and therefore found it reasonable to inform of the meaning of this particular brand.
In Denmark, a horse owner can take out an inapplicability insurance policy for his horse. If the horse gets inapplicable for riding and the indemnity is paid by the insurance company the horse is marked with a triangle brand on its left thigh.
