President of the North American Danish Warmblood Association

In 2005, Karin was elected president of the North American Danish Warmblood Association, the North American branch of the Danish funded Danish Warmblood association. She was elected due to her great enthusiasm for Danish Warmbloods as well as for her great commitment to bettering the knowledge of Danish Warmbloods in the U.S.

As President of NADWA, Karin has over the past three years met with many owners of Danish Warmbloods here in the U.S., informing them about NADWA, and the benefits of being a part of this association.

Karin Dilou has been living in the U.S. for the past twenty years. Since early childhood she has had a keen interest in horses, an interest which she recently realized with the acquisition of two RDH mares from Denmark. She lives in her beautiful home in Nicasio, CA, together with her two sons Peter and Christian, as well as her six horses. She very much enjoys hunting, and spends most of her spare time and weekends on hunts all over the country.
