Description: Bay, small star, white sock left front and hind. TAF brand.
Grading description: Suitable size stallion of good type. Expressive head. Medium-long, well-set neck. Long, sloping shoulder. Tied elbows. Medium-long, un-marked withers. Good top-line. Well saped croup. Legs fine and dry. Narrow hooves. Narrow movement behind. Movements good in walk, extremely good and with good push in trot and good canter, but lacks hock-action. 8-8-7-8-6-6-7-8-7-8
Material description: The stallion has preformed a 30-days test in Germany 2001. In dressage the stallion was given 8,78 points. In jumping, 8,35. Distelzar won the 30-days-test with a total index of 8.77 points and fabulous 10 points for his rideability.
Own results: 2001 Distelzar won the Trakehner Championship with a total of 9.0 points. 2002 he became the vice-champion at Bonn-Rodderberg. The stallion was qualified for the Bundeschampionship for young horses and the world Championship of the Young Horses in Verden in 2003. 2004 Distelzar had two stallions licensed from his first foal age class: C'est Bon (110,000 Euro - Somerlade Stud) and Donauzar
Other Ramrks: With his exceptional basic paces and his natural ease shown under saddle Distelzar caused a sensation. His sire, the champion stallion Gribaldi was already successful in international Grand Prix tests and was nominated reserve horse for the Dutch team at the Olympic Games in Athen.
